The production facilities established by Meccanotecnica Umbra in many parts of the world are designed to benefit their environment. Meccanotecnica Umbra’s operational focus is the production of oil seals, a field in which it is a global leader. A production process carried out with care for every detail without handing over sensitive production stages to third parties at our facilities in Campello sul Clitunno in the Umbria region.
MTU is a company that produces mechanical seals and sealing rings from composite materials based on silicon carbide, carbon, and PTFE. All these products possess high tribological features capable of increasing the efficiency of motors and machines used worldwide.
All rings are checked both at the acceptance stage and during the process with special automatic imaging devices. After the molding stage, the products are assembled in semi-automatic lines. To ensure no detail is overlooked, all rings are tested under critical conditions and subjected to additional tests before packaging.
